Star Flower Italian Pizza - Taunggyi

We were looking for a place to have something else than rice and noodles. And we found it. Once we came in, we were greeted by very friendly owners. We ordered pasta house made, fresh and very tasty. We also had fresh juice from strawberries as it is a strawberry season and with a first swallow we were back in childhood

Fresh Basil, they do their home with Pesto. We tried the house made gnocchi pesto, excellent! I don't know if it's because we were in low season, but for 5000 I got good Gnocci plate, plus free bruschetta free water bananas for dessert

The pizzas and pasta are beautiful, but the local food here is even better and there are many veggie options that can be very rare for Myanmar. More importantly, however, the staff is so beautiful. My girlfriend was sick for a few days while we stayed in Nyaung Shwe, so I came here for dinner on my own three or four times and they were so nice that they even opened the restaurant again when I appeared late and cooked a meal of scratches! Couldn't recommend it anymore.

Pizza is delicious. Pasta is delicious. The beer is cold. Staff is the perfect example of hospitality in Myanmar. Nothing else to say, definitely recommend when you eat pizza or pasta.

We had pasta with tomato and gnocchi with fresh pesto (every thing home made and fresh , that came with parmezan cheese, it was delcious. For starter we gat home made garlic bread with tomato that was nice. The host was realy nice and helpful for anything we needed or asked. The prices are decent. Ill come here again to try the pizza:
