Eat them here often the staff are fantastically always friendly and cheerful, they work really hard. never hard a cold meal always well cooked. great building.
This is a beautiful building so good that wetherspoons use this old building. meal was ordered online and delivered quickly and was ususal cheap meal. very disappointed that she worked 3 coffee machines and only one (intermitting). the above had no coffee machine during. the week as they turn it off?! bad setting to take when so many customers eat up!
What a building! typical weatherspoons, good eating friendly courtesy staff very good service, very good value for money
We came for food and drinks, which were all quite good and exactly what we expected from a restaurant. I wouldn't normally write a review, but the bartender practically asked us to do so. He was a thin guy with tattoos on his arms and neck. He took a bit long to bring our drinks (about 15-20 minutes), and when my father joked about where they were, the bartender defensively explained that they were placed just a minute before. It wasn't so much the wait that bothered us, but rather the bartender's attitude. He should have apologized and made up for it, but instead, he seemed more focused on my dad's joke. He even stood at our table for a while, telling us his life story, which none of us cared for. It took some time for him to realize we weren't interested. Throughout his rambling, he mentioned writing a review on a travel site a few times, essentially asking us to do so. So here it is: the restaurant and the staff were good, the food and drinks were good, but the odd bartender made for a less than pleasant experience.
