Tristans Bistro - Taunton

We had the Christmas menu and the food was absolutely delicious. The best Christmas meal in a restaurant ever! The flavours were astonishing! The staff were friendly and the service was excellent. The ambience of the room was vibrant and comfortable. We thoroughly recommend this restaurant to anyone who appreciates good, home cooked food with exciting flavours.

I really hope the belly pork on the festive menu is kept on next year's menu as I can't wait to go back and have it again. It was truly the best belly pork I've had in a long time and the crackling on top was superb! The restaurant is much longer than you would think from the outside as there is a big room at the back for large parties. We had a lovely work Christmas lunch here, the staff were fantastic, checking we were ok for drinks, the decor was lovely and the atmosphere was great. If you haven't been here before, I highly recommend you check Tristan's out, it's one of the best restaurants in Taunton.

The food and staff were very good but tge atmosphere was cold. Some work needed here to make it more homely and warm.

We popped in on a rainy evening in an unfamiliar town and got lucky! Great food and friendly service in a nice bistro location. Recommended

Had a great night, started it off with the malibu and coke, The waitress’ suggested the mushroom starter, so I got that and the sauce was delicious Then I decided to try the ‘Tristans triple threat burger’ and I loved it, it didn’t defeat me but it is hard to fill me up Brownie for dessert, I definitely suggest!
