Plateau Eatery - Taupo

I went for a walk while I was in taupo and partly through I was thrilled for a coffee and a bite to eat and coffee. I stumbled at this place and was drawn by the facility. the menu was tapas and I ordered two that looked good, but there were a few that I would have ordered if I had a group. both courts that came out were excellent. I'd like to come to dinner again. a great sound!

The booked dinner here for good reviews and not disappointed. service friendly, fast and attentive also at a busy sat night. eating was exceptional standard and did not disappoint. had mostly share plates ragu and all hit the mark and then some. the gin cocktail was refreshing and desserts worth saving space. very recommended xx

I have eaten a few times here and enjoyed their excellent menu. the staff is friendly and helpful. we did not previously booked a table, so the front of the house team made a table to meet our needs without pressure. in general, when I eat here, I will always choose fresh fish including trout if available. this visit included a large seafood plate for two and a large selection of beer. fortunately, the seafood was not deep in the teig! it was easily cooked with perfect dips, sauces, fresh chili, kokosbrühe and limette. nothing beats fresh boiled seafood from aotearoa to very fair preisen ps forget the desert to mention was excellent and a pleasure to see

In the januar 2022 we held a look back in taupo for 23 people. the Friday evening function was held in the plateau. from the first discussions to the event itself, kate (the manager) was very helpful. we used the private functional space and a part of the outer deck. the plates we enjoyed were amazing and the staff went the extra mile to ensure that our function went smoothly and was enjoyed by all. I recommend to them the venue and team of plateau if they wish either a casual meal (as we enjoyed in the past) or a great place to host a function for special people!

Where to start ! The ambience was lovely! The service is 100/10, very efficient, kind, funny, and she did an amazing job (well done! The seafood and snack platters were amazing and just the right amount to share between 5 people. Between us we had the steak, the calamari and prawn salad, the pork and the venison.... followed by the desserts. This is an superb place to share a meal. The food was to die for, mouthwatering and filling. The flavors are sensational and the ingredients very fresh. Definitely will be dining here again. Keep up the awesome work x !!!!!
