88 Chinese - Tauranga

They recently relocated to 801 Cameron Road, and the new location is beautifully decorated. I ordered the roast duck, black pepper beef ribs, wonton soup, and beef tendon. The food was excellent, and the wontons were particularly impressive, filled with fresh pork, mushrooms, and well-balanced seasoning. It’s a refreshing change from other dim sum places that often use frozen pork for their wontons.

Big delish yum cha cha cha.. spreading the taste of the orient with succulent delights.. such dumpling delishishnsh.. crispy squidulous.. my bowels know no better Chinese delights.. I'm moist in the glands to get back.. mourna could learn a thing or 2 from this joint.. easily the best Chinese at 88 Devonport street. Yes.. I will revisit.. oh yes...delishishnesh. Sprognic

If you're in Tauranga and craving some decent Chinese food then this is the place to go. Service is good, generous portion, authentic taste. Some dishes such as the bbq and sticky rice are on par with a good Chinese restaurant in Auckland. Some dishes can be improved on taste, but overall I'm happy to find a decent Chinese restaurant outside of Auckland. It's not easy!

Great Chinese food with unique taste. Absolutely friendly staff. Owners gave us the best service in town. A wide variety of Chinese food served with a large portion. Great value for money.

I absolutely love the orange beef! It's some of the best I've ever had. I usually get takeout since the restaurant tends to be too noisy for my taste. The prices are reasonable, and the quality of the dishes is excellent.
