Clarence Bistro - Tauranga

Beautiful experience, we had a big group booking for my birthday, and although it was a light mix due to another party thought that they were our booking, they were incredibly apologetic and compensated us well for the easy delay. eating was absolutely incredible and the service excellent. we had a long celebrity dinner and didn't feel any hurry at all. the old post office is a beautiful building, we sat outside in the pavillon, which is warm from the fire and great atmosphere. will definitely be back. thanks for a magical night!

This was a great restaurant in an old post office in the heart of Tauranga. The menu had a range of options from à la cart to tasting Menu. The service was very good, the place was busy and leather apron staff were high energy. Most of the dishes were accompanied by description from the executive chef which is really appreciated and the by the glass wine options were very impressive.

Booked on 12pm Sat. lunch, ordered express course menu, this is not ordinary we felt chef's serious work with Italian owner's great sense, plus friendly lovely service attended, this is the place we have been searching for, total of our first dining experience was beyond our high expectation with my loving people on my birthday! We love to be back trying different menus but one more time for that fermented barley mushroom risotto, Thank you

This place is special. Food is excellent, service just right, decor and ambience great. A lovely spot with everything going for it.
