There is fish and chip shops, and there's Girven Road Takeaways. This place is always busy with good reason, the food is inexpensive and ridiculously tasty. Have tried the chips, fish (hoki), burgers, oysters, scallops etc. It's good, well priced and delicious. Get in and enjoy

I had a fantastic experience at this restaurant! The food was amazing, and the service was outstanding—I would highly recommend it to anyone. This is our go-to fish and chip shop, and we are always impressed. The fish is incredibly tasty, and the chips are crispy and delightful. It's usually quite busy, which is a good sign, so I suggest calling ahead to place your order. There's plenty of parking available in front and on the side of the shop. The staff are friendly and very helpful as well. Additionally, they offer delicious Chinese takeaway options. Overall, a wonderful place to eat!

Fantastic service! This place is always bustling, which is a great indication of its quality. The Chinese takeaway is excellent, and the fish is truly amazing. If you’re planning to order on a Saturday night, make sure to call ahead because it gets extremely busy, but it's definitely worth the wait!

The Chinese food is very good, but the fried dishes have been declining for some time now. Today was the worst experience yet—everything was too greasy, and the fish portions seemed to be mostly batter.
