New Watervale Fish Chips - Taylors Hill

I have ordered some quaint fish and chips here. I'd say their chips and flocks are good, but I always have problems with their broken scalopps and pineapple rings. they look crispy on the outside, but they are soft and doughy in the inner

Wanted to try this fish n shop, it was maybe the worst fish n chips I 've ever had. I ordered minimum chips, plain burger, lamb souvlaki, 2 fried dim Sims and 3 steamed dim Sims. First of all it clearly states on your website that the lamb souvlaki doesn 't come with onions but apparently when we ordered it and my partner bit into it there was chunks of onion (My partner is allergic to onion) when we took it back they said it normally comes with onion yes maybe but state it on your menu! The chips were average maybe chicken salt would have been nice, I had a plain burger and I hated it, couldn 't eat it was so soggy the bread and the meat was disgusting. The dim Sims were the only thing that I liked from there. Customer service was ok.

Very good/reasonable prices, fish and chips were good, lamb souvlaki was delish, highly recommend! I noticed it gets pretty busy so call and book first!

Go to fish and chip shop. Prices are excellent, service is great and never a hassle when wanting to change items in deals. Potato cakes are super soft inside and crunchy on the outside, flake is nice and plump. I've also had the burger which is okay .. buns were soggy on this occasion so I'll just stick to the fish and chips which I couldn't fault.

E: On her way back from the local grocery shopping rounds, mum stopped past Watervale Fish and Chips for some quick, friendly service and value for money. Mum reckons the staff were quite friendly (small, seemingly family-ran businesses usually are), but marked down due to running out of Flounder and having to substitute for flake instead. The chips were golden, salted to perfection and super soft and potato-y which is my favourite, scoring an extra .5 for taste. The value was pretty good considering this business was charging cheaper prices as compared to most other fish and chip outlets. Not the best, but not the worst.
