Mr Salsa Mexican - Taylors

This restaurant is absolutely perfect! The service was outstanding, and the atmosphere was relaxed with no sense of hurry. The music played at just the right volume, and everything was spotless. Every bite of food was divine. The dishes were fantastic, and the flan is simply amazing. I recommend asking for it without the whipped cream and cherry—it's just not necessary!

I paid $20 for a to go order. When I arrived I asked if I could add some queso and a side of pico. I told the girl I only wanted a small size.. and was told too bad it only comes in one size and it’s $2.75. (It’s massive mind you and all I wanted was one tiny ramekin). I was annoyed but I agreed to it. Then when she went to get me the pico and queso I asked for extra chips. I was told I already had enough chips and they charge extra for more chips. Even though I ADDED some queso and this massive side of pico I was charged for. There was no effort whatsoever to accommodate me or my situation. I understand you’re a small business and prices on food have gone up, however I’m in the service industry and our prices have gone up as well but I accommodate my customers. If somebody wants a smaller side of something I can manually ring it in for a lesser price and bring them a smaller portion. I understand you have to raise prices, but do better at accommodating your customers. I’ll not set foot back in this place after this experience unless someone wants to rectify it; and it’s sad because I grew up going here since it opened. I asked to speak to a manager and she never went and got one just told me this is how it is. Too bad. Completely un-accommodating and frankly rude. I never leave bad reviews but I am pretty heated about the way I was treated just now. The attached photo shows the ridiculously massive side of pico, and the two other containers smaller containers were the perfect size I had asked for but was flat out refused. Do better at treating your customers as human beings if you want your business to stay open.

I wish I could give this less than 1 star. It was horrible. The salsa taste like straight canned tomato sauce. The tea was the only thing that was good. I was there with 2 teenagers who barely touched their food and didn't want a to go box because it was so bad. I told the waitress how bad the shrimp cocktail was and she was nice but didn't seem to care. The cashier asked how everything was and I told her too. She apologized but that was it. I asked if a manager would do anything and she said no. I thought about it the next day so I called back to complain the the man who answered the phone said he was both manager and owner and he was SO rude, he offered no help except that the next time we came in he would be sure that it was good. No offer for a credit or anything, so I told him we wouldn't be coming back. I could have went to Taco Bell and left happier. It was probably the worst restaurant experience I've ever had. I wish I had taken pictures of the awful meal.

Oh my !!!!!! I asked for hot sauce and they delivered, the entree was your typical gringo go to for what we consider authentic but the hot sauce diabla I'm still feeling today, next time I will ask for the diablo salsa su you can leave flowers on my grave

VERY GENEROUS PORTIONS! 1 meal is easily 2. Very large portions. Delicious options. Friendly service. I ordered the super veggie quesadilla and I was super impressed by how packed full of veggies it was. They didn't skimp at all. My husband ordered the chicken chimichangas and they flavored the chicken so well. It was dry, bland chicken you find at some restaurants. Cheese dip is a go! You get 2 types of salsa for free with chips. One spicy. One mild. Both are great!
