I really enjoyed the lamb and chicken sled. The hot dogs are so well prepared, you never worry about much or too little. Time is a factor and if you have the time, then make it for Frank's Burger. The attention to detail is the focus for me and they have achieved it perfectly. So many more dishes to try so you can hear more from me. I have a signature slider I want to suggest! A great treat of my taste.
Our first time and we enjoyed it very much! We had sliders with everything on them and fried Thumann's hot dogs with peppers, onions and spicy mustard and an order of regular fries. Very good taste! We will be back!
A new Burger Speciality Square in the old rooms of Gertys Deli. The burgers are sliders in style (thinks of White Castle style. The lambburger was juicy and moist and had the lamb taste with the Greek sauce. The chicken sandwich was well seasoned and not dried. The actual hamburger slider was unstoppable. It was a bit dry and didn't have the wow factor, as the restaurant and his chef claimed. They also serve hot dogs with a variety of toppings. The ambience and decor was clean and simple and follows the theme of industrial chic style with simple two-color color scheme and open ventilation. Service was good and warm staff.
This was the first time in this place and I'll go back. Frank Burger was only open for a very short time (less than 2 months) and I went there after reading an article that said the food was good. For the most part, I agree. The first is that they make sliders (small burgers) and francs. You have a wide selection of francs, all served with your choice of spicy or yellow mustard. I had two hot dogs, one was a bacon cheese dog, the other with red sauce onions. The dogs themselves are very good... Good snaps and juicy. My bacon cheese dog was very good and the spicy mustard added a good blow. My red onion dog was a little unexpected... But not bad. I expected more of a traditional tasting onions like a hot dog car, instead this became with a bit hot sauce. Not bad, just unexpected, actually pretty good. I also had a three slider sampler that gives you 1 chicken sled, 1 beef and 1 lamb. All three are served with onions, covered with crispy onions. The chicken and beef are tasty, with the chicken somewhat more tasteful than the beef. But the actual star is the lamb slide with Tzatziki sauce and crispy onions. The lamb has no playful taste, it is very well seasoned and the tzatziki with the onion add some beautiful textures to the entire experience. As for the pages... The fries are absolutely on the point. Crispy and not too salty. The onion rings were disappointing. I won't have them again. My whole meal cost me $20. I will return in the future.
The food is super fresh and worth the trip. Sides like fries / onion rings come from hot crispy large selection of slides, sandwiches and hot dogs with fantastic taste. Try the Franken with red onions spicy mustard surrounded by a soft potato bunk, you are welcome.
