Rabica Cafe - Teaneck

I have been dining at this restaurant for many years. While consistency may not be the most thrilling characteristic for a spouse, it is certainly appreciated in a restaurant. Although some of the original charm was lost when the restaurant changed ownership, I still consider it a four-star kosher dining option. The portion sizes are not overly large, but the menu remains innovative and the food and decor are still enjoyable. The staff is always willing to adjust the volume of the radio to accommodate guests, although the ambiance can be disrupted by larger groups of noisy patrons.

I didn't have a reservation but they still managed to seat us. I ordered linguine with leeks and mushrooms. The sauce was delicious, but the pasta was overcooked. The Caesar salad was tasty and satisfying. The avocado salad was good, but I would have preferred smaller pieces.

Food was okay, service was okay. Comfortable place for a sitdown lunch/ dinner.
