Contribuisci feedbackDuring a stay at Rancho La Puerta, an employee who lives in Tecate recommended this humble, authentic Taqueria at the town square (Parquet), near the town hall (Palacio). The owner, the founder's son, cooks food before you. Enter the street to see bright orange picnic tables and open kitchen. Our waitress was wonderful (I speak Spanish, but her English was fantastic). We pampered in the tacos including beef carne Asada, Barbacoa and pig served on ribs and in Salsa Verde. The Michelada (a traditional Mexican beer drink Tecate in this case of our and Clamata, which is tomatoes and mussel juice and with a spicy mix of chicken, salt, pepper) was the best I ever had. Don't miss this local jewel!
