Contribuisci feedbackThis is by far the best Indian cuisine I have ever had the pleasure of eating. Each dish is unique and delicious, with divine textures and stunning colors that make every plate look like a work of art. We are thrilled to have this restaurant nearby and always look forward to ordering from them again and again!
The restaurant has recently been taken over by a lovely Nepalese family. Hari, the maitre d, is always friendly and welcoming, and the service is excellent. The chefs are Hari's father and brother. My partner and I love dining at this restaurant and visit regularly. The atmosphere is beautiful and the food is delicious. We enjoy trying new dishes, but also have our favorite items on the menu. We particularly enjoy the Nepalese dishes. We have been coming here as friends and now as a couple. I almost hesitate to write this review, as I want to keep this hidden gem all to ourselves.
Avoid this restaurant at all costs. The service is incredibly rude and unhelpful. The employees seem too busy to properly do their job. Save yourself the trouble and eat elsewhere.
Rude employees and the manager are only concerned with earning money and not customer service. eating was spoiled and cold.
Been going to Saffron Cottage since it first opened on the site that is now McDonald's. Food was always great and value for money. But the past 12 18 months this is no longer the case. its expensive and serving sizes reduced significantly. Now...go to Rogan Josh in Upper Ferntree Gully.
