Haldon Forest Diner - Teignbridge

Title says everything really. Food was good, and cheap. Waitresses friendly. Manager less so. Sunglasses stolen by a ‘regular customer’ from my table, shame because it seems like a nice place otherwise.

I always make sure to stop at this restaurant on my way to Plymouth. The food is always well-cooked, the service is fast and friendly, and the prices are reasonable.

My wife and I had a quick lunch at this restaurant. We received great service and enjoyed a delicious meal at a reasonable price. She had a jacket potato and I had a chicken tikka. The staff did a lovely job and were very pleasant.

One of the best no-frills diners in the area. Plentiful portions, well-cooked and delicious meals. Staff always friendly and accommodating.

Proper roadside dinner, not a chain, or greasy spoon, proper food no messing about and the portions aren’t for slimming world candidates, if you’re travelling in the south west it’s a winner
