The Horse - Teignbridge

A great surprise this - I've always found this area a desert for good eating - either overpriced gastro-style mundane food, or very expensive quality.

I've been at the White Horse Inn today at lunchFrom outside it looks like a well kept pub, but the inside is very picturesque.

A gem. We had delicious sausages on fresh ciabatta and bought cakes to go. Lots of really high quality, locally sourced ingredients.

Pleasant small place on Chagford’s central square. They use really delicious ham, which I enjoyed in a ham and salad roll. Great cappuccinos too. Friendly service.

The food in this delighful friendly place with a wonderful cosy atmosphere is simply superb for vegans, vegetarians and omnivores alike. Highly recommended for food, value and wonderful froendly service.
