The Market Gate - Teignbridge

We decided to order delivery for some burgers and came across this place. It exceeded our expectations, as the food arrived hot and was delivered by a friendly driver. The cheeseburgers were huge and delicious, and the fries - both regular and sweet potato - were flavorful. We were very impressed and will definitely be recommending this place to others, as well as ordering again in the future.

The restaurant has a simple brick and wood interior. The staff were friendly and there were no problems. Our burgers arrived in a reasonable 15 minutes, which is to be expected for made-to-order food. The burgers were delicious and the fries were also good. The total cost for two burgers, one order of fries, and two drinks was £25.40, which I consider to be good value. While it wasn't exceptional or outstanding, it was still very good, and there was nothing wrong with that. I would definitely return to this restaurant.

First time in Newton Abbot. Popped in early on a Thursday afternoon, so quiet. Interesting decor but very nice, obviously a music pub, wish we could have stayed there for the evening. Food looked good. Expect it gets very busy.

I lost my AirPods here and Jess, who works there, was there for social reasons, but she still noticed them and handed them into staff there. Warren was a great help as well but Jess kept me in the loop the whole time. I go here all the time and had seen her there before but she deserves massive credits for all the help she’s given!
