Great place for kids food is ok but have lots of options for kids. You can spend the day there, they have a pool and soccer and volleyball court.
The food is very low quality. The thinnest burger I have ever seen in my life. The nachos were bad ... no salsa instead unseasoned tomato sauce, 2 tablespoons of beans, and a bit of cheese sprinkled. The fish filet also thin and mostly likely frozen instead of fresh! The "special" Tarraya salsa is not special at all, gringos make better tasting salsa. Good pina coladas. The pond in front is very nice with the exception of 1) no flat rocks for the turtles to sun themselves upon (we watched as a couple tried to get out on a rock to no avail) 2) 2 of the 4 Maya statues had cartoonish faces. We appreciated the fans and the details of the restaurant. Definitely the nicest looking restaurant in Telchac Puerto but better tasting food can be had from any of the locals ... pollo al carbon, pescado frito are less costly, taste great, and the people are kind and friendly.
I went to this restaurant with my girlfriend and it was a good place. The restaurant is nice and comfortable, there is a clean water pool. The food is good, very fresh but not the portions honestly, we asked for a medium ceviche but it looked as it would be the small one. Just let you know so you don't wait for average portions. I recommend the place, by the way....the service is good too.
Pretty good food. Better menu than all other options in this shabby town. The chicken nuggets were homemade - best meal the kids ate all trip!
