Disastrous. 1:00 p.m., early, only 5 tables occupied and from the start the blonde-haired waitress with a bow treats us badly, indicating where she wants me to sit. It begins to lurch from one side to the other without being productive at all. After a while, he takes note of the drink and that's when I notice that the other 5 tables are still waiting for the menu, and the pitcher of beer had practically finished. I thought it was weird, well no, it took me 27 minutes to tear the letter and as many to take note. Clueless and out of control. He serves tables that arrive later, a young couple next to us, they simply drank the pitcher of beer and they hadn't even brought the menu. Until another girl arrived, the service did not walk a bit, even so, painful. We ordered 3 dishes, only two arrive and it had to be claimed on the bill because they charge for it. No pardon, no excuses... nothing, quietly I'll break it and bring the new one. By the way, NEVER ask for squid because a portion consists of a third of the plate semi-fried and bland potatoes, another third salad without dressing or possibility on the table for it and in the other third, 6 slices of 3 mm (be careful, measured) a robbery at armed hand. Calamari with 2 sides? Where has it been seen, oh of course that to fill the plate and charge you for the potatoes and salad at €14.50 The good thing, the views, that they missed charging me for the two pitchers of beer and that I won't go anymore. We left hungry for €30.50. It has made me thankful to see that it was not punctual, too many negative comments. Good luck, you're going to need it Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: €30–40 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1 Recommended dishes: Lapas Con Mojo, Calamares
Freshly fished great quality, right on the beach. Service rapid and professional. Price in line with expectations. Lucky to have found you!
Zurita is what the locals would call a chiringuito (chee-ring-ghee-toh), i.e. an informal bar-restaurant. It's literally on the edge of the sea and beside a beach that disappears at high tide. It also looks to me that some days, the waves might actually surprise its customers! There are no tables indoors, only outdoors. It gets very busy at weekends. No reservations. You arrive, take a number and wait your turn. The worst time is between 2 and 4 pm. Be warned. Weekdays are probably much quieter. Food is all right, prices aren't exactly cheap, but sort of average, I guess. Don't expect fancy stuff but you get the local favourites such as papas arrugadas, croquetas, ropa vieja, pulpo, calamares, etc. Even though it may not appear on the menu, they do half portions for most dishes, so go for this option if you wish to try more dishes. Another tip: Parking is very difficult at the weekends, so grab a place when you see one and walk a little.
