Worst Indian I’ve ever been to, service was the worst I’ve ever experienced, ordered drinks and the pop came warm, ordered a chicken and king prawn curry mixed and only got 1 king prawn, but after I raised this issue up with them they told me they only put one in for all there mixed curry’s which I know was a lie and never would of ordered if was told earlier about it, curry was extremely spicy to the point I at to leave the curry as it was uneatable I raised this up with them also and they began to be very aggressive 5 of them came over shouting in my wife’s face, they still tried charging me extra for only 1 prawn in the curry, toilets were very filthy, please give this place a pass it’s always empty for a reason, and outside is a mess. Felt scared for my life at one point when 5 came over shouting in my wife’s face while my children were watching.
Overall a really nice dinner, came out to the blue elephant whilst on a family visit. Food was good, nice flavours… I’d say maybe lacking slightly in spice, but can understand less is best. Had to wait a bit for dishes but nothing over the top, just it wasn’t overly busy and seemed a lot of staff. it was nice evening out and I will return
Such amazing food, always very tasty and hot. Service is excellent, very friendly and helpful staff. I have been to many Indian restaurants and this is the best. Their butter chicken is always my go to as it is amazing.
We have been to the Blue Elephant in the past and when my son, who lives about 200 miles away said he was visiting and would like a curry I booked at table on Saturday evening. The six of us met up, we were met by a friendly waiter who sat us down. The service was very good, food was very tasty and the bill wasn't so much of a shock as we suspected. One observation, as we've had Indian meals throughout the years in different parts of the UK is that other restaurants, on sitting down, we are normally asked if we'd like a drink and some poppadoms whilst we are choosing from the menu. Blue Elephant don't do this... I just wonder if it's for a reason.... In no way is it a criticism just an observation. We hope to go back there again very soon.
