Brad and Marg are the perfect hosts. They always make us welcome. They serve the best pint of Pedigree in Shropshire and the pizzas are fantastic!

Fantastic local pub, we visit most weeks for a few drinks after work, either with friends, family or just as a couple. Margaret and Brad are really welcoming and there is an amazingly atmosphere, such a comfortable place to visit. Quiz nights on Tuesdays and a lovely relaxed vibe on Fridays. All dogs welcome and are provided with a treat by Margaret and a bowl of water upon request. The pizzas are to die for and a fantastic addition, so glad it’s within walking distance for us!

We had a lovely meal in the Malt Shovel, great food, very friendly great service. I tried a pizza from the new menu it was lovely, my friend ordered the omelette, which she enjoyed, definitely recommend a lunchtime meal there !
