The Forresters Arms

During our stay at a holiday cottage close to The Foresters, we found it to be a convenient spot for both lunchtime drinks and evening meals. The food was of excellent quality and portion size, all at a very reasonable price. The staff were friendly and welcoming, as were the locals who showed great support for this community-run pub. Don't hesitate to give it a try - you won't be disappointed!

We recently enjoyed a fabulous Sunday lunch with friends here at the Forresters Arms. Great atmosphere, friendly and welcoming staff and superb food. We had a great choice of roasts, lots of different veggies and the biggest yorkshire pudding I have ever seen. Thinking we couldn’t eat another thing , we did! And there was a great selection of puddings on offer delicious. We will definitely be back soon

We stayed at the restaurant again and everything was perfect. The food was amazing, and it's rare to find good pubs these days. The landlord and landlady are fantastic hosts.

Good choice of dishes with amazing quality and customer service. Nothing is to much trouble. Didn't stay for Sunday Lunch be hear people say it was fantastic.

Wednesday lunch was brilliant! We had spicy chicken kebab, steak pie and omelette and chips. All of it was really tasty and the chips were fab. Definitely be back .
