The atmosphere is elegant and it is a nice place for a special dinner. The menu is a little diverse but had staples that would appeal to most. The food was excellent however the portions were more like a small plate rather than an entree. Our server was very nice but food took forever and then came to us completely cold. The menu is pricy even for telluride so being served a cold, $50 filet was really disappointing. We expected more from them.
Great restaurant in the Hotel Madeline in Mountain Village Core. Beautiful dining spaces with fireplace and views of the ice skating rink. Colorado lamb shank was very tender and delicious. A few of us opted to order two of the smaller plates and everyone was very pleased with their selections tuna tartare was a beautiful presentation, scallops were perfectly seared. This is my go to restaurant if I don't want to go into Telluride. The Black Iron Kitchen and Bar next door (also in the Hotel) is equally good.
Very disappointed food was overpriced service was extremely slow
Went to Rev for Christmas Eve and was very disappointed. When I made the reservation no one had told me that it would be a limited prix fix menu. The menu was very limited and the food mediocre at best. We had been to Rev before and had been pleased with the food but not this time. After I made my reservation with opentable someone had called me and asked for a credit cRd to hold the reservation. That would have been a perfect time to tell me about the menu but the women didn't. We had our children with us and 80$ a head for mediocre food for 5 people made it a very expensive meal to be this dissappointed with.
