Cave Cafe At Oak Mountain Winery

Place is nice, we ate at the distillery. Nice bar great food. Service was beyond great.

Charming winery, but unfortunately, I experienced the worst service ever. I waited an hour for my Grubhub order, and when it finally arrived, it was incorrect and not very good. The place was busy, so I tried to be understanding and patient, but it seemed like the staff completely ignored me during my visit. After waiting 40 minutes past my estimated pick-up time, I finally asked for an update, and the lead server came out with an attitude about my Grubhub order. She tried to upsell me and was unnecessarily rude. It took another 20 minutes to get my food, and it still wasn’t right. To make matters worse, it was overpriced and just not enjoyable. This really put a damper on our bachelorette lunch. I would give zero stars if I could.

Eh just okay. My mom and I came here on a Saturday. We had reservations and were seated in the barrel room which was very pretty. We ordered the brunch enchiladas and the country fried steak and gravy. Our waiter was very nice. The enchiladas were very good and I would get again. The country fired steak and gravy came out cold and was not good. My silverware was very dirty and I had to wait over 5 minutes to get someones attention to get some new ones. The gravy had a good flavor, but was cold. The country fried steak was very crispy and too much breading. Overall, a cool place to see but I would skip on the food.

Recently changed ownership, NO LONGRR ACCEPTS SYNERGY TEMECULA GIFT CARD. Absolutely love the staff here, been a member of Oak Mountain for a year now. Dustin is the best in the tasting room. We typically eat inside the cave not on the patio because it is much cooler. They are dog friendly on patio. The food has changed since ownership more flavor and a couple more menu items and slight price increase. They had the pull bread taken off the menu on this visit, also the whites are very sparse. I didn't like the new shrimp pasta, too oily and don't like having to cut the tails off the shrimp, I would recommend the salmon over the shrimp pasta. Husband loves the chicken chipotle sandwich, great fries. The peach flatbread was mediocre, I will not order that again.

We ate indoors and had wonderful food and our server was fantastic with a great personality.
