My husband was served a dish made with rotten chicken, do I need to say more? after we informed the owner, she instead of apologizing she got upset with us the customers that pay for the horrible service and food. We will not go back there.
Bravo. Thank you, Alessio for a fantastic evening at your place.
Thankfully, I took a small doggie bag home with me from my dinner last night at Francesca's Italian Kitchen. My mouth is watering as I type this.... My date and I chose to eat at a booth in the bar area of the restaurant while we watched the game. The waiter suggested one of the wines from the local winery and I'm glad he did. It tasted like an aged barolo and went really well with the filet tips we had over pasta and whatever sauce was over it that I had never had before just incredible. What I like about this restaurant is its homey atmosphere. Even though the restaurant is located in a shopping center, it doesn't look or feel like a shopping center restaurant when you walk in. It's an easy place to find since it's right on Highway 79 and near the Pechanga casino in case you want to have a little gambling fun afterwards. I'd go to Francesca's again in a heartbeat. Two thumbs UP!
A friend of mine who lives in Temecula recommended Francesca's Italian Kitchen restaurant. Although my wife and I are from Escondido, we decided to venture out and see what all the buzz was about. My wife ordered the Veal Marsala and I had the fish special (seabass). Both dishes were outstanding. My wife was surprised that they offered gluten-free pasta as not too many restaurants accommodate people with allergies. She said the dish was just perfect. I do want to add that many of the other Italian restaurants we've eaten in this area over-garlic their food and/or it's too salty. However, the dishes that Francesca prepared were seasoned just perfectly. Although it took awhile to get there, it was definitely worth the drive. We found it quite easily as it's right on 79. You can't miss that sign. The owners are very friendly and will go out of their way to please their customers. The place was also packed (we went on a Thursday). We sat at one of the two tables that were left, so if you go, you might want to make reservations just to make sure you get in.
