Our server Madi was very attentive and cheerful. We ordered a variety of things including appetizers, steak and pasta dishes. Food was delightful and what you would expect from a chain restaurant, nothing too fancy but hit the spot. Our only complaint is we wish our dishes were hotter, wasn’t cold just not fresh hot out the oven like we like.
The food atmosphere was fantastic. We went for Thanksgiving dinner (yes, I realize it's a super busy time to go). However... when an establishment knows its going to be busy, it is their responsibility to plan accordingly. With that being said, we had a 5:45 reservation. We were on time and were told there would be at least a 30 minute wait. That's understandable and acceptable considering it's the holiday. What is NOT acceptable is the amount of time it took to have a server actually acknowledge our presence and this only happened once we were finally able to get a managers attention. Unfortunately, it still took another five minutes to have someone take our drink orders. They did accommodate us with free soup salads but as first time guests, our experience was not great.
I’ve only eaten here twice since I’ve moved to Temecula in 2011. I personally did not love the food. I think it’s too simple and plain. The portion size is on the smaller end for the price. The service was alright, it was pretty lonely both times I’ve gone and took a good time to get the food to the table. Both times I’ve had their fettuccine alfredo and just didn’t love it. Their artichoke dip was pretty good though.
We come here for the take-home family deal. Can't beat the price for the quality of food. The portions are great, and the food is hot and ready for pick up when promised. They have never forgotten anything on my order. Great job. We have eaten inside a few times and the atmosphere and service was great. We recommend Roman's for a good meal with good service.
We visited Macaroni grill on Mother's day this year, I completely understand it's one of the bustiest days of the year for restaurants, my expectations were low, I'd be happy just getting my food. However, I was pleasantly surprised by our waiter, who turned out to be a manager, he was very involved and very attentive. They actually did a great job considering the situation, it was absolutely slammed, he kept our glasses full, got our food out, and we survived, wasn't my first choice for.mothers day, but based on the visit, I'll be going back on a slower day to eat again, food was on par with other locations I've been to. This place is obviously effected by present day labor shortages and lazy gen Zr's thinking they are to good to work in customer engagement. It's not there fault the labor market is garbage.
