Hands down the best place in Temecula wine country... these guys did it right.. I knew something like this would kill it at that corner location... brilliant with the 1909 name, superior food and drinks, service was great and ambiance was perfect... 5 stars.. nice job!!

In town on family business and had some time to visit Temecula. Loved it and loved 1909. Outstanding variety of local craft beers on tap. Had a beer flight to quench my thirst after a stroll through town. Our neighbors at the bar had some amazing looking food that I’ll have to try on my next visit. Our servers were also super friendly and took time to converse with us and made us feel welcome. Thanks for a great time.

Treated by some friends after we shot some senior pics downtown. Friend says this place, 1909, is known for its bar, but neither of us drink so we don’t know. “Do you like hamburgers?” asked my friend. “It’s hard to mess up a burger,” I said. “Well, you might rethink your choices. This place, I think you’ll put this burger in your Top 5.” He was right — it’s probably number 2. (My wife makes a damn good burger. The signature burger at 1909 is topped with a savory bacon onion jam that I can’t wait to get again, but there’s lots of other good options on the menu —wings with pineapple adobo or Vietnamese chili sauce, crab/shrimp empanadas, to name just a few — that are worth a return trip.

Fun place to eat lunch on Father’s Day. Even though it was very busy our service was great and the food terrific. Enjoyed sitting on the front patio.
