All Subway restaurants are usually similar, but this one is different. It is set up in a former Via railway dining car. Everything has been preserved and you can eat in the dining car section. The view overlooking the Gordon Creek running alongside will provide an impressive backdrop as you enjoy your submarine sandwich. The only downside is the lack of space when it's crowded, as a dining car is typical but not necessarily ideal for preparing submarines. They also do not offer the option to toast your sandwich, as there isn't enough room for an oven. Finish off your meal with ice cream from Lumsden located next to the train and resembling a station. Lumsden is open from Victoria Day to Labour Day.
We buy from subway at least once a week or every other week. The servers are bilingual, friendly and very charming. Unfortunately the owner passed away due to cancer but it is still being well maintained. The other spouse is doing her best to maintain client friendly and reassurance of quality and service. My opinion: great job to the team
Not much to say about this restaurant since a subway stay a subway. Service is good, quick and friendly. Place is interesting since it is an old train wagon. Nice view on the waterfall.
