The food is incredibly delicious, and the prices are very reasonable. The staff is exceptionally friendly, and everything is remarkable. As a side note, I hadn't visited in about three months, yet the server still remembered my order. Wow!
There is only one Malaysian restaurant in Phoenix, and while the food is good and the staff are friendly, it still doesn't quite capture the authentic Malaysian flavors.
We got for a Togo order about 20 minutes ahead. We got a Char Kway Teo w and Mamak Mee Goreng, both had medium spiced sambal, perfect for our Indian taste palates. The portions were good enough for one person. The roti canai came with a gravy, both of which were little too heavy on coconut flavor, something we aren't accustomed to and it remained untouched.
We've been here twice. My husband is Indonesian and The food is similar to what he's used to back home. The service here is great; the waiters and waitress and attentive and the food comes out fast. We've ordered the soups and curries- both were delicious. The appetizers are yummy as well. Definitely a great lunch or dinner spot for Malaysian food.
