Additionally, I was expecting the wings to be dripping with sauce, but instead, they seemed only lightly coated—as if they had been misted rather than drenched. I prefer my wings to be generously coated with sauce so I can toss them around for that extra flavor boost. Another letdown was the curly fries I ordered for $4. I expected a decent portion, but what I received was a small handful. Usually, curly fries come seasoned, but these were not at all. If you find yourself at this place because Long Wong is too far away, you might want to opt for the Suicide Wings if you’re looking for something spicy (though I can’t personally vouch for them). They do offer some wing specialties that could redeem their otherwise lackluster wings. Overall, my experience was quite bland, and I won’t be returning. When I crave hot wings, I want them to actually be hot—not unbearably spicy, but enough to at least break a sweat. Long Wong remains my top choice!
