My daughter studied today at the asu we decided to go to one of our favorite steros in tempe. perfect pear bistro never disappointed, even on a day when more customers were expected. we had a party of 6 today our server cat set the bar high. our drinks were filled all the time. the delicious pear crumbs with vanilleeis came as our appetizer, as we wish. everyone on the table smiles when we all had a bite. everything our group has ordered was wonderfully prepared and delivered. kudos to all the workers here who make every visit unforgettable.
A very nice place that looks very nice, the ambiente was very pleasant and the sitting was very comfortable. we got the grandmas mac as an appetizer and it was so good and gluten-free, we also ordered the pesto and goat cheese with gluten-free bread. one of my guests has zöliakie and is very sensitive to gluten, eating can't touch anything that has come into contact with gluten, I tried to explain this to the waitress and she immediately cut off and said so gluten-free? which in its bareest form was what I wanted. I continued to move on when she broke me away because she had already had knowledge of his suffering. all three of us ordered sandwiches with gluten-free bread, so we could all share, but when the waitress was asked further about the appetizer of food, she said that the bread for our torf cheese was roasted on the same hotplates as the normal bread. so he could not eat that because of the danger of cross-contamination. after the further explanation of his allergy, she said that they had to throw the broth apart, but when that came out sandwich, they had not roasted the broth, at all what was? but until now my companion had no faith in the restaurant to be careful enough to not make him ill and not end up eating his Cuban sandwich. Apart from the allergenic portion of this restaurant, it was simply ok. eating was not amazing and nothing was to be noticed, the server was terrible rude and dismissed during our visit. she also cries that my companion had eaten?t say eating? the chefs try their best? what I am sure they do, but after their ignorance about his condition it was simply not safe enough to take the risk, terrible ill for the rest of the evening and perhaps even the next day. this restaurant puts wrong on a picture of understanding gluten-free and people with zöliakie, but in reality there is server at least no idea what they are talking about. if they have someone with them who has a food allergy or if they want polite and helpful waiter, this restaurant is not for them.
This is probably one of the best restaurants I visited in a local. I got the chicken club with cute kartoffel fryers, which was delicious, and the design and music selection were also great. outside our window was a beautiful pink flower bush that covered everything. I came here to a great way to start my trip to the grand canyon.
Everything on the menu of the Perfect Pear Bistro looked great. We were seated outside with our large group of 10 and enjoyed some cooling mist while we dined in the partial shade. Personally, we enjoyed the butternut squash and falafel tacos, and the southwest black beans on the side were a nice accompaniment. Everyone at our table enjoyed their variety of meals as well. I don?t think we could?ve gone wrong with anything on the menu. The service was quick and efficient, even for a large group.
