Tokyo Stop - Tempe

We stopped here for lunch, and the restaurant was quite busy. It is very small, and the indoor temperature was uncomfortably hot and humid. The service was friendly, and our food arrived quickly. However, I found the food to be lacking in flavor, and given the price, I was really disappointed. I'm not sure if I'll return.

Tokyo Stop has terrible service and the food is unappetizing. I cannot recommend it. The sweet-and-sour sauce is just pure sugar, and the dishes lack any depth of flavor. They also overcharge for very small portions. Sometimes, it's better to stick with what you know. I’m not a fan of chain restaurants, but I would choose Panda Express over Tokyo Stop any day. If you're looking to waste money and upset your stomach, then Tokyo Stop is the place for you. Please save your money and go somewhere else—anywhere else!

The portions are generous, and the staff is incredibly friendly. It's an excellent choice for lunch, as they manage to serve food quickly even during peak times. I visit roughly once a week and am consistently pleased with my experience. The seating is limited, so I typically opt for takeout.

Fast casual spot on university right next to a Japanese market. The food was good and they give you a good size portion. Everything is served to go but you are more than welcome to dine in. The staff are extremely nice and hospitable as well!
