Top Of The Rock - Tempe

Top of the Rock might have the best view in the city, and the food was amazing. All the dishes were well thought out and brilliantly executed. Chef even managed our party's somewhat tricky dietary restrictions. Thoroughly enjoyable evening.

Booked a reservation for 5:30pm for our anniversary dinner. Got there at 5:25pm and there was another couple in line in front of us. The guy was having an argument with the hostess about booking a reservation, but it was clear that he failed to book one. They were done arguing around 5:30pm, which we then checked our name in. Long story short, this couple got seated before us, with a MUCH better view, and the hostess left us standing/waiting for another 15 minutes (my wife is also 8 months pregnant). From there our waiter billed us for much more than we ordered, obviously I pointed that out and he did adjust the check accordingly. However, at a place with this high of a standard, I expect excellent service. The two things I thought reflected a high end restaurant were that of the view (which we hardly saw) and architecture. Besides that, extremely disappointing service and subpar food. Will not be returning.

I had a wonderful time here with my girlfriend for our anniversary. Food was absolutely delicious. Our sever and other severs were very attentive, came By regularly to fill up our waters, and wines. Definitely recommend and will Be returning soon. Can't beat the beautiful view either.

We had dinner on the patio at sunset and the view was absolutely magnificent. The food was excellent and artfully prepared. The service could've been a little bit better but it was still good.

Ambiance was wonderful, this restaurant is known for its stunning view of the valley and that part of dinner did not disappoint. I was a little disappointed in the quality of food however. We split the Cowboy steak which is a 22 ounce ribeye with 2 sides and side salads. Steak was cooked well but did not have much flavor to it. No seasoning and parts of the steak were charred black. I wasn't really impressed or really loving the steak. The asparagus we ordered also had no seasoning or flavor to it, not even salt. I came here celebrating my birthday and truthfully was a little bit let down by quality of food.
