The servers are well-trained, friendly, and professional, although there does seem to be a high turnover rate. The food is consistently good and prepared correctly. We never experience excessive wait times. I usually order the Chicken Parmigiana, and it’s always delicious.
Service was five stars. Bailey B did everything right. Pre bussed, suggestive sell, two min check back, refills. Food was three stars. Kid loves the place and I love peace and quiet so we go where he picks. For an Italian place I would figure the noodles would be on point. But not here
Tonight only confirmed the fact that I don’t like Olive Garden anymore. My husband does, so I gave in and ordered. He orders the tour of Italy and subs the Alfredo for extra parm. He enjoyed his meal. Since COVID the few items I enjoy are no longer on the menu (chicken piccata or anything piccata anything would be nice or mushroom ravioli). Tonight I ordered the shrimp scampi (almost $20) shrimp seemed boiled not sautéed, very bland and tasteless.
Typically, we visit this Olive Garden for takeout, which has been satisfactory. However, I wouldn't recommend dining in. The establishment doesn't seem well-maintained, and its age is evident. The booths sag when you sit down, the window sills are dirty and dusty, and there are sauce stains on the walls. When you enter or exit, there's an unpleasant odor, and the doors are quite worn. Both the plates and silverware had marks and appeared to be the same ones since the restaurant opened. My drink glasses were also dirty, and the lemonade had an odd taste. While my waiter was attentive, the overall experience was mediocre. The food was disappointing as well; I found the appetizer more enjoyable than the main course. I would recommend ordering takeout from this Olive Garden or skipping it altogether, as it’s just not worth it.
I attended a birthday lunch for a coworker and we spent 2.5 hours there. We arrived at 11 AM, and the restaurant was not even busy. The food was served fairly quickly, but since I'm not a fan of Italian cuisine, I didn't expect to enjoy my meal. We had to request drink refills, even though we had two servers attending to us. The longest wait was for the bill; we had finished eating an hour before it arrived, and then it took another 30 minutes to settle the payment.
