While I can understand a small fee for a substitution, $3 for a minor alteration to a dish that usually comes with the meal seems excessive in my opinion. Furthermore, the portion size of the sticky rice was small, so I ended up ordering two portions for myself. In conclusion, I believe the restaurant has the potential to excel if they introduce a straightforward upcharge option for sticky rice and enhance their level of service.
