The restaurant was very clean and had a lovely New Orleans decor that created a nice atmosphere. I ordered the oyster basket along with cheese sticks as an appetizer, and it was a fantastic meal for the price. I’m looking forward to returning for breakfast on Sunday morning.
I had a fantastic dining experience at this restaurant! I tried the seafood gumbo and a shrimp po-boy, and both dishes were delicious. The only downside is that they only accept cash, which is a bit inconvenient.
I visited this restaurant with my wife and we absolutely loved it. We started with the fried green tomatoes, which were fantastic, especially with the house-made honey sneak sauce. We shared the hot ham and cheese po-boy (with Swiss cheese) and it was not only delicious but also quite large, so I’m glad we decided to share it. We also ordered the red beans and rice, and the only thing we regretted was not getting a larger portion because they were so flavorful that we devoured them quickly! This is a great little spot for a tasty meal, and we will definitely be back!
I had the seafood gum and it was delicious. my daughter had chicken and fries and they were juicy and tasteful. good home made cajun cooking. temple needed that. I can't wait to go back. the staff is very attentive and so friendly. everyone is happy and positiw. If you want a good cajun home cooking, this is here!
Good, authentic Cajun food. Fresh fried catfish, shrimp and oyster basket was very tasty, well-seasoned. Some of the oysters were very chewy and one was downright tough. Side of jambalaya was unimpressive, mainly rice with a few bits of chicken and sausage. Slaw was very tasty. Overall good, not great, and far less crowded than The Catch a mile away. Try it out.
