Great Cookie - Temple Hills

I grew up on this place but Heavens Bakery is better to me now. I never appreciated the customer service here as well.

‍.. Excuse me ! Can I say something ?!?... Listen family ! .. It's some places in this world where you go and ONLY order a specific thing. And the snicker doodles are just that at this place. I'm putting these up against ANY snicker doodle cookies you've ever tasted. If your from the DMV hopefully you're from D.C you know about Iverson Mall Snicker doodles. Must have ! They always come out fresh because the demand is so high. Not that big, but the taste makes up for it. Yesterday I got 2 $30.00 boxes as you can see in the pictures . They also have $20.00, $40.00 boxes .. $10.00 bags, random cup sizes or you can just order by the pound. The other type of cookies are good to. But not GREAT. Just trust the monster order the snicker doodles. Located inside the mall, but it's right by the entrance as soon as you enter. Mite be a line, but they move like Chick-fil-a lines. So no hassle with that. Takes cash card. Enjoy. #TeamDiesel4Evaaa

The cookies are amazing however, the website states they close at 7pm. arrived at 6:30pm and they were already closed! they need to update their website close at the appropriate time which is 7pm!!! IVERSON MALL

I ordered a cookie cake from them a week ago, to be delivered on the 28th of March, for my birthday on the 29th. The options they provide are 2 day priority shipping or 1 day priority shipping, presumably in order to keep the product fresh. USPS failed to deliver by the promised date even though tracking shows that The Great Cookie shipped it quite early on the the day they were supposed to (the 26th . I received it on the 30th, late for my birthday. Disappointing, right? Well, I emailed The Great Cookie to ask for a refund on the shipping cost itself (after all, the 2-day shipping wasn't honored. Not TGC's fault but who else am I going to ask? , and in just 15 minutes they responded and provided the shipping refund, way sooner than they could've gotten such a refund from USPS in turn. Not only that, but the cookie cake kept incredibly well. Even though it was in transit 2 days longer than anticipated, it tasted exactly like I remember from my childhood. Excellent product and excellent service, what more can you ask for to give five stars?

The snickerdoodles were alright...a little on the small side. The chocolate chip with pecan cookie was delish and perfectly chewy with crunchy sweet pecans on top. Yummy!
