The Devon Inn - Templeglantine

Lovely stay at this hotel. V reasonably priced. Lovely food at dinner and breakfast. Reception area very welcoming on arrival and very helpful with any requests for printing etc. Highly recommend

Went for lunch, had to wait for a table which wasn't an issue at all as they were busy. Got seated, ordered drinks and a meal each the beef roast and a lamb roast. Got the drinks first, a coke and a wine. The coke was flat. Waited for a LIFETIME for the food. The beef was like leather, there was only one slice of lamb that was edible the rest was fat. The owner or manager or whatever she is was slugging a bottle of bud with other customers that were in to eat. Which I think us a bit unprofessional to say the least. The girl that served us was lovely, hence the 2 stars. The quality in the Devon inn has really gone down hill over the last while and the food at the weddings is awful too. Will definitely be giving it a miss from now on.

I booked this Hotel for my Children Grandchildren from the UK as they were attending my Birthday Party in Abbeyfeale my Hometown. They had a most enjoyable stay. Family Rooms were very nice Breakfast was very good. Food Service was excellent. They enjoyed their stay.

Excellent hotel! Ideal for weddings and events. The food is amazing, and the staff is wonderful. The atmosphere is superb. Highly recommended!

I always come here for the fajitas, and they are absolutely the best! The service is consistently friendly and welcoming. However, I wish they had larger cappuccino cups!
