The food is wholesome and freshly cooked every day and one can see the chef in action, the lovely lady of the house, doing her skills at best, as one makes their way to the bathroom. The meal not only tastes delicious, but is healthy and fresh ingredients are supplied daily. You are being served by trained Thai staff and you may be lucky to meet the lovely and pretty daughter of the chef serving you. Our group of ex employees of a car manufacturing second tier supplier, meet there 2 to 3 times a year and are feasting and enjoying ourselfs in all aspects. It is BYO and we bring our beer with us. The restaurant is very stylishly decorated and displays the Thai culture. It is very popular as most times we eat there, guests reach the Restaurant 's capacity. Hence booking may be a good idea. We have seen birthdays being celebrated for young and old and lots of couples of all ages. The place is also buzzing with 'take aways '. Enjoy
After I went to Thailand I thought nothing would come close to the flavour I had over there. Until I discovered Keelavadee. While still slightly westernised, it's the best Thai I've had anywhere in Melbourne. The peanut satay sauce is thick and rick, just to DIE for (I've eaten just that on its own for lunch). The green curry is also a favourite, but you really can't go wrong with anything here. On top of that, they're friendly, and the restaurant has enough atmosphere to work as an eat in place as well as take away. Do yourself a favour and make this your local Thai place.
We have found our new favorite Thai restaurant! The staff is attentive and the food is absolutely delicious. All six of us loved every bite and we will definitely be returning.
I had to wait 45 minutes for my drink to arrive. After waiting for 30 minutes, I had to ask for my water glass to be filled. Even that did not come for another 15 minutes and not until I had made a second request. And the restaurant was only half full. Food was also very slow and at best average. Pineapple beef curry included thin overcooked strips of beef. The honey chicken was boring. Even the takeaway customers were complaining about the slow service. We had come on a recommendation but won't be returning.
It had been a while since we had dined here. We enjoyed another lovely meal here. Quality fresh food all round. The staff are delightful and most helpful also. The place was chock a block with patrons, says a lot about how well regarded this place is. Definitely a great place for good Thai food without spending a fortune.
