Ottimo e ambiente simpatico Visualizza tutti i feedback.
Molto buone le puntine e ben curati i contorni.
Was introduced by a friend who works nearby to Osteria San Martino and comes regularly for lunch. He described it as 'not unusual, but with good food'. He was right. The Osteria is tiny inside, seat about 15 persons max. It... has a beautiful Grotto-style terrace with barbecue specialities in the summer. His October, we enjoyed a starter of fresh salami and other local cured meat, followed by a generous portion of delicious homemade 'pasta al forno'. We had no room for the "torta di mele ' (apple pie) dessert, but saw his fragrant, homemade kindness served on the table next to us. The 'menu del giorno', served at noon from Monday to Friday, goes an absolute bargain in these parts for CHF 14.50! Osteria is worth 5 minutes walk from Tenero Train Station and the detour!
New host, of course, wanted to try after we were very satisfied with the predecessors. Unfortunately nothing worked.Lange wait time to get to order only. there is no wine card, the wine should be selected on the places attached to the walls. there, however, all tables are occupied by guests. So you should either ask the other guests to get up so that you can get close enough to the offer of the wee, or have a far glass in the bag. the wine is served too warm, since it is served in the height on the places, not properly cooled, stored and served directly from there. The risotto ordered was watery, the teller pasta acceptable. the next surprise came to pay. we wanted to pay with ec (as usual with the predecessors). unfortunately no card payment is accepted. that was not mentioned. we were advised to run to the next bankomat to lift the missing money and then pay.
A small restaurant specializing in steaks, serves locals and occasional ventilation tourists. The menu du Jour was an amazingly delicate and juicy rabbit with homemade steakries and fresh cut vegetables. Nothing above the top, just a warm welcome, good food and freendly... service. We are looking forward to our next visit...
