This restaurant is a popular spot on Friday nights. It has a small menu that doesn’t include any desserts, but that’s part of its charm. They serve hearty country-style dishes like roasted cat, chicken fingers, steak fingers, and maishunde. The only sides available are fries and onion rings, but you can also get coleslaw, hush puppies, and bread. If you're not a fan of fried food, this place might not be for you. It’s all about deep-fried goodness here, just across the border.
It's really greasy. I had to throw out the chicken and the French fries to get rid of the excess fat. Just give it a break!
My husband and I called in an order of fish. Waited 35 minutes for our food. Got back home and the fish was way over cooked, hard as rock and no hush puppies. Disappointing. Will not return. The food use to be amazing. 2 stars for the tarter sauce, was great.
We both had the catfish and fries. The food is delicious. I think the waitress could have been a little friendlier but overall it's a great place to eat.
