Ihop - Tewksbury

The restaurant was quite busy on Saturday, but we were seated in about 15 minutes. We placed our order right away and received our food fairly quickly. My favorite dish was the strawberry crepe, while I was less impressed with the lemon ricotta crepe. The banana pancakes with strawberries were also delicious. However, I wouldn't recommend the egg and bacon; the egg was overcooked, and the omelette is much better.

I was served by Serena, who did an outstanding job. She was quick, knowledgeable, and very helpful. Not only did she take care of me, but she was also serving all the guests that night - she definitely deserves a raise! I tried some of IHOP's new Minion-themed items: The Gru Burger [10/10], The Ciniminions (cinnamon snacks) [9/10], and The Iced Cold Gru (cold brew coffee) [5/10]. I highly recommend the Minion dishes I ordered, except for the iced coffee (which was just okay). The rest of the Minion menu tasted amazing and was cooked to perfection. I skipped the milkshake since I’m not a fan of bananas, but that's on me. Serena mentioned that the Wild Berry Drink was good, so I tried that too [10/10]. I will definitely be back, although not right away, because I had an incredible dining experience and your location is the only one for miles. Great job to Serena and the cooks! My husband and I were fortunate to snag a table on a busy Saturday morning around 10:00 AM. Our server arrived quickly to take our order, and the food was served shortly thereafter. However, it felt a bit rushed, as the server brought us the bill almost immediately after the food arrived. We had intended to order additional items but decided against it since the bill was already printed. Other than that, everything was enjoyable.

Staff weren't friendly, Jasmine wasn't helpful at all after one of our kids knocked a cup of water by accident she fell to offer help with the cleaning instead she went to stand next to the register with the other employees. We were 12 at our table one employee was helping us the whole time; as soon as 4 teenagers came in two employees were ready and helping them, was it because we weren't white?

Food here is excellent!!! The service on the other hand is less than desired at times. Our waitress spent more time chit chatting with the other waitresses than checking if we needed anything. Waiting long periods of time in between seating us and offering to get our drinks at least. I mean she did what was needed but was it worth a Great tip I don't think so. Not on this day anyway. Otherwise like I stated the food was excellent which is the only reason I still gave it 4 stars overall....
