The Front Porch - Texline

It's such a nice surprise in such a small town. Great domestic kitchen and friendly staff. I'll stop here again!

Beautiful, clean and comfortable. the ladies of the front porch greeted us happy, even if we arrived only 20 minutes before the closing time. we both enjoyed our sandwiches and wanted us to be there before the bark stew was sold out! very recommended to stop here.

We found this restaurant by accident actually! We were behind someone who was taking a long time to turn which gave us the opportunity to see the sign out front. So we ended up turning into Front Porch to try something new! We pass through this area about 3 times a year and always stop at the same places, but this pass through we wanted to try new restaurants. The Front Porch did not let us down. We were greeted with a friendly, Sit anywhere you 'd like! the moment we walked in, and promptly brought the menu card. Husband ordered the chicken fried steak, kiddo ordered the corn dog and I ordered chicken fried chicken. Most of the items are home style comfort food which we enjoy thoroughly. The decor is country and our drinks were served in big, cute mason jars. Bathrooms are clean, even the soap dispenser is a mason jar. Our lunch stop was delish, thank you ladies! Keep up the great cooking!

Excellent homemade jam!! Very nice people. Maybe a little work on eggs to order but otherwise def reccomend it.
