Contribuisci feedbackWe went for breakfast at this restaurant. Unfortunately, there were no croissants or pastries available at 9 o'clock. The selection of fresh fruit and other items was also limited. There was only one staff member working. The muesli dishes had a dirty edge around them, resembling a soup stain.
The breakfast buffet was disorganized and the food was either overcooked or poorly prepared. There was a lack of guidance from the front of house staff, which was particularly disappointing as it was our first visit. We've had much better service at budget hotels. We were relieved that we didn't book dinner here last night. The menu was pretentious and the setting was outdated.
I had a very mixed experience over two nights at this restaurant. The staff were friendly, but seemed inexperienced and overwhelmed. The service was chaotic, our orders were missed, and there was unacceptable waiting times between courses. Other diners around us were also complaining, and it was disappointing to not see a manager stepping in to assist the young, inexperienced employees. For a Hilton hotel, the service was subpar.
In our first night we ate in the restaurant. our food was mixed. the chicken carving and the pumpkin tortellini were nice, but the teig on the shell was chewing. the pfeffer in the pfeffer pots was glued to the side of the pots so that no pfeffer could be removed. we pointed out, but the next day the pfeffert pots were in the same condition. the Clementine-Tart tasted beautiful, but the Morello-Kirschen-Flan was dried and cracked and completely tasteless. we have pointed out, but no offer of compensation or replacement offered. we also ate in another evening in the bar, as we could not find available restaurants in front of the place. the sri Lanka chicken curry was very tasty but there were 2cm water at the bottom of the rice bowl. the kicherbsenkur was also delicious, but it was cold and the sweet was harder than al dente. there were also 2cm water in the rice bowl.
We were seated by a friendly member of staff she gave us the food menu but had to ask for the drinks menu after we had ordered our food. Drinks and starter came and was very nice. My main course was nice but unfortunately my boyfriends chicken burger, chips and onion rings were bad, chips looked hard not seasoned, onion rings had no flavour and looked liked frozen ones burger had no taste. Very disappointed with the food for a 4 star hotel. Complained when we asked for the bill and didn’t pay for his main or side dish.
