Taj Curry House - Thames

The best indian cuisines in thames town, actually in nz. the are the new owners and all they got is different tastes. the chef has a good knowledge of taste.

Delicious! If your looking for a genuine Indian feed then I highly recommend the Taj. I've tried a few meals now and am always pleasantly surprised with the quality of the dishes, full of flavor and very generous with the quantity all at a very reasonable price! The Taj Curry House to me represents the only decent Indian food in the area, the curry is genuinely spicy and I find every meal as gratifying as the next. I would not eat out in Thames if not for the Taj curry house, it's moderate prices and excellent quality really make it worth eating there. I suggest it to anyone who likes real Indian food give it a try.

Brilliant food at the restaurant. Real authentic Indian food. I can relate flavor of the food served in the restaurant similar to the food I had on my trip to India. The front of house is very friendly. I happened to meet the head chef of the restaurant and he showed me a few trick on making a good authentic Indian curry.<br/ <br/ I always stop at Taj on my way back to Auckland from Coromandel. I strongly recommended the restaurant.

We had the venison masala and the Chicken Masala. They were generous portions and full of flavour. We also had a Cheese nann and a Garlic nann. I watched them make the nanns which was a treat.Rogan Josh is fantastic and a lot of pieces of chicken in the butter chicken dish. Food is delicious full of flavour. I would say this is the best Indian restaurant (it’s a takeaway and dining excellent standard). This is by far the best curry place in thames, hands down!!! Good value also! Our new favourite. i suggest the people try once excellent food in Taj Curry House. cheerzzzzzzzzz
