Wright's Fish Chips - THE BASIN

I will argue without doubt that this is the best fish and chip shop in melbourne, highly recommend their order by, how at the weekend it can be up to half an hour for ordering, but it is worth waiting. very recommended when they go through.

Ordered hot chips of these youngs today for a group of high school children with whom we work. Value for money, friendly service, we were really excited to find this place, plus value for money!

Since I was a child, I went here and was never disappointed by quality eating and recommend nice people

Nice service, lovely people, but.... damn the fish and chips is terrible. Actually inedible. Ordered grilled flake, scallops, and chips. The flake were crucified to the point of being stringy and chewy. The scallops were small and definitely not fresh. Everything cooked in oil that tasted filthy.Avoid

Unfortunately they didn’t hit the mark with our dinner tonight. Chips and potato cakes very oily and over cooked. Tasted like the oil hasn’t been changed for a while. Grilld fish unfortunately went straight in the bin wasn’t comfortable feeding it to my daughter.
