The bagels at this restaurant are delicious, but unfortunately, the customer service was very disappointing. My group arrived 40 minutes before closing time and patiently waited for the person ahead of us to finish their order. However, it took an additional 10 minutes for us to even be acknowledged. When we finally asked for some additions to our bagels, we were told that the grill had already been turned off. In my experience working in food service, I understand that it's common to start shutting down equipment before closing, but turning off the grill 40 minutes early is just unacceptable. It was clear that the staff did not want to serve us. Despite the restaurant's good reputation, I would recommend avoiding this spot based on our experience.

One of the best bagel shops in the five boroughs, this Bronx establishment is the only bagelry listed on Eater's 22 Best Bagel Joints in NYC. The bagels are crispy on the outside, chewy on the inside, and generously sized. The spreads are plentiful, creating a perfect meal that I enjoy at any time of day. The store is small and simple, offering only great bagels, spreads, and a few other items like Bev's, cookies, and chips to go. Additionally, there is plenty of free parking in the shopping center across the street.

The coffee and bagels at this restaurant are excellent, and they offer convenient parking.

Tried to order from them on Uber Eats. I ordered two bacon egg and cheese bagels, which are on the menu. Then I got a notification from them in the app that they couldn't make those. What do you mean you can't make them? THEY'RE A MENU ITEM. Cancelled my order, won't ever be giving them any business. 1 star is the worst rating I could give.

I have been a very frequent customer of Riverdale Bagels through Uber eats and order the same thing approximately 2-3 times a week for my friend and I. Over the course of the past two weeks I have received two orders of everything bagels with cream cheese that is entirely expired and has a sour unpleasant taste to it. Not only is this a danger to my health but it shows a lack of regulation in the kitchen. This issue needs to be addressed and I am seriously reconsidering ever ordering from this place again.
