Flatrock Smokehouse Bbq Catering

I really love this spot. They have phenomenal prices and they don't give you the short end of the stick on quality. I've noticed w/ other BBQ spots in the area some days its awesome others its ok. Not at Flatrock, consistently great. The new jerk wings are amazing! My two favorite meats on the Jalapeno sausage and the brisket, but you can't go wrong with anything on the menu. If you like your sides... they have the best BBQ Baked Beans that I've had. Help support our local businesses' and give Flatrock Smokehouse a try, you won't regret it!

So I went here based off the reviews and I was bamboozled. The ribs were boiled. No char marks whatsoever. No smokey grill flavor just boiled baked ribs. They were spongy and bland. They looked nothing like the picture. They were VERY light in color. I should have gotten a picture before I threw everything away. I had a little ways to get home and by the time I got home the fat greasy build up from being boiled had already set in around the bottom of the ribs. The brisket was dry. The Mac and cheese which I knew was going to be a hit was bland. The baked beans had a funny smell and were not good either. I’m going to assume that I just caught this place on a bad day but highly disappointed especially with the amount of money I spent. They also were out of onions so I didn’t get my PPO that comes with the family meal. The Texas toast on the other hand was phenomenal. The customer service was good. The place was clean.

This place is great! Food is freaking awesome! People are super nice! Restaurant is extremely clean. They even have a DJ spinning R&B/jazz! Note: They are only open Fri, Sat, Sun as they do catering during the week. I'll definitely be back!

Stopped in for the first time today I had the brisket, potato salad and beans for sides brisket was some of the best I’ve had in quite some time atmospheres good customer service is awesome owner was on site and made his way around the dining room greeting everybody.
