Village Bakery Dundas

I was in on Wednesday this week and bought 2 cinnamon buns for 8.50. They were so stale inedible at least 2 days old.

Great bakery.. we love their breads and donuts. Fresh deli items.. good European selection..

Sunflower seed bread was great! Cashier didn't seem to care about product or customer service.

Mistakes on two birthday cakes orders with no voluntary compensation for two orders that were not made as requested. Disappointed to only have sorry , and then when l asked so that 's it just sorry, then to be made to feel like l shouldn 't expect anything is wrong. l also called to order and while owner was not in the shop she took my number to call me be back but l never received a call back. But l still called again to place the order that ended up being wrong again for the birthday disappointment. Also was charged $10 more for the second cake a month later. When pointing out the price difference, answer was ingredient costs are higher, sure, but $10 increase in one month?

Susan Preston is an artist! The beautiful cookies she made for my daughter's baby shower not only tasted delicious but looked amazing! Big cookies too! We were so happy with them and the dessert tray we ordered! We highly recommend to anyone who's looking to have a party, shower etc!
