Contribuisci feedbackWe waited an eternity for our order, and when it finally arrived, it was completely wrong. One dish was entirely off; instead of the salad we ordered, we received a quesadilla. The other dish, a wrap, was supposed to be without peanut sauce due to an allergy, but of course it came drenched in peanut sauce. I'm sure they would have offered to remake everything, but we didn't want to wait around for that again. It would have been helpful if the server had taken our order down properly from the start. When we explained our situation to the staff as we were leaving, they didn't seem to respond much. We ended up going down the street to Frutas Locas y Mas, and it was fantastic—delicious food, friendly service, and quick service. We will definitely be returning there, so "tap" that!
I visited the restaurant tonight around 8 PM. A waitress with a knee brace and long lashes assisted me. After I placed my order, an eight-person party arrived, and my order was taken first. However, an hour later, I still hadn't received my food, while the larger group had already finished theirs. The waitress informed me that she forgot to submit my order and blamed it on the kitchen. I ended up leaving without my meal. How could an hour—or even just 30 minutes—pass without anyone realizing that my order hadn't been placed? I ordered a burger as my main and chips with queso as an appetizer, and I got neither. As a server myself, I really dislike leaving negative reviews, but as a party of one, I was quite disappointed by this experience.
The hosts and waitress were very friendly and welcoming. The atmosphere was pleasant and relaxing. However, the food was somewhat lacking and could use some improvement.
Pet friendly and even had 2 choices on the menu for our Frenchie!
We have been coming to Rivertap for years, especially picking them as our spot for the Neon Cruise year after year and that stopped this year! NEVER have I EVER been treated so rudely by staff. If you know there is a big even happening PREPARE for it and be a little nicer especially when the customers are being patient and nice. First we were told to go to the bar and place a drink order since we were at the standing area outside. Then we were told we were “pissing everyone off” by standing at the bar and needed to go sit down and only received 1 out of the 4 drinks we ordered. After waiting outside like they requested no one came to take our drink orders and we were specifically passed over by the waitress for other customers who came after us to be helped instead. We closed our tab and went elsewhere and don’t plan to come back! Unfortunately your staff doesn’t wear name tags or give their names out but it was definitely the bar tender, and the waiter with blond-ish hair and white shorts on last Friday night. Rivertap please do better!
