After downloading the Taco Bell app in an attempt to resolve the issue, I had to knock on the window twice just to get someone’s attention. A man came over—he wasn't the one who took my order—and informed me that bicycles and pedestrians weren't welcome in the Drive-Thru. I asked if I could place an order through the app, and he confirmed I could. When I inquired whether I could go home to get my car, he said that was fine. So, I drove back around and tried to order through the app. To my surprise, I was the only customer attempting to order, yet the app told me I needed to wait five minutes because they were busy. I could see two employees from where I was standing, and they were laughing. After waiting five minutes, I was prompted to try again, but was denied because they were still too busy. I was absolutely furious. I was being polite and trying to follow their unwritten rules, which aren’t posted anywhere regarding bicycles or pedestrians. I was also extremely hungry and had my dog in a basket, who was eagerly waiting for his usual treat. What happened to good customer service? What about being environmentally conscious? This is simply unacceptable.
